Zand, which guarantees a dowry to be paid by the fathers, with a certain Moshe ben Noah Kvin and ?? Melamed and witnessed in Dvinsk (Daugavpils) on 23 Heshvan 5669 (כ"ג חשון תרס"ט) (17th November 1908) by David Lipman Edelman and Nahum Ze'ev bar Noah Segal. The text, which is printed here in Warsaw, dates to the 17th century from a book titled Nahalat Shiva and is the version used by the Mitnaged community. At the bottom are the signatures of Leibe Galerkin and Alte (Raize) Zand.
The Ketuba, filled in on a pink printed sheet. The wedding took place on the (15th Adar 5669) 8th. March 1909 in Dvinsk between Alte Raize bat Shneor Zand and Yehuda Leib Shaul ben Don ben Yermiyahu Galerkin. The text is the standard Aramaic and Hebrew. The witnesses are David Lipman Edelman and Zvi Hirsh bar David z"l ???. |
