Occupation
We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Vida Gutstein. Mrs Gutstein taught History at PHSG some time ago and later went on to become the Deputy Principal. Remembered fondly by our Old Girls as having a big personality, she made a profound impact on many of PHSG’s past learners. Those who knew her best remember her as "the best baker", a "fantastic knitter" and an avid gardener. After her time at PHSG, she moved to Israel, where she continued her passion for teaching, having taught English to many Hebrew speakers. Mrs Gutstein played a huge role in shaping the PHSG we all know and love today, for this, we are very grateful. May her family and friends find comfort in this time of loss.
