Note | Simpsie (Ronnie) joined the RAF and was posted to Southern Rhodesia After the war he, his wife Ida
and their infant daughter Lynnette came to Glasgow, they returned to Rhodesia 1 ½ years later. Hilda
and Ida were very close and they wrote each other until Ida's death in 1966. |
