Mrs. S. Gershon Levi, formerly of Montreal, Que., and who resided in Canada for ten years, and who now lives in Jamaica, Long Island; was national education chairman of Canadian Hadassah, and chairman of contemporary Jewish affairs for the Council of the Jewish Women of Canada. She was education consultant for Hadassah; a member of the faculty of the Women's Institute, of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America; and is a member, of the national board of the National Women's League of the United Synagogue of America, She is co-author of "Across the Threshold" the League's newest publication.
